O.K., my homosexual friends, relative and colleagues (and I have several of each), what really is the big threat posed to you by pre-teen boys in tan shirts and kneck scarves? I happen to be the father of a boy scout. I am not afraid that he may come into contact with gay people. I already know that he has, and everything is fine. So why are you so afraid of boy scouts?

The Boy Scouts of America are persecuted, make no mistake about that. Cities around the country are throwing the scouts off of lists of charitable contributions, and federal courts are gleefully throwing boy scouts off of public land.
I shall comment no more on this. I truly want someone to give me a rationalization for scoutophobia.
